Dr Jacqueline Cade

Dr Jackie Cade is a specialist anaesthetist trained in Melbourne. She has subspecialty areas of interest in cardiac and obstetric anaesthesia.

Dr Cade studied medicine at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 2006. She undertook specialty anaesthesia training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She has also worked at the Royal Women's Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital.

She undertook further sub-specialty training in cardiac anaesthesia with a fellowship at Toronto General Hospital, an internationally recognised institution that specialises in high-risk and complex cardiac surgery. She is certified by the National Board of Echocardiography and passed the examination for Advanced Peri-operative Transesophageal Echocardiography in 2015.

Dr Cade has a public appointment at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and works in private practice at Melbourne Private Hospital, Epworth & Freemason's, Frances Perry House and St Vincent's Private Hospital.

She is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists.
